Changes to the Virtual Market: Manakh Al-Bayan

Starting in 2005-2006 the virtual market will become the "Manakh Al-Bayan." Whereas before the market worked like the NASDAC, all computers, the new market will work just like the NYSE. In other words, sales will take place on the spot and only on the days list below between 1500 and 1700. To buy or sell, you must physically come to Al-Bayan Bilingual School or send an agent with written orders. Two maps appear below.

The sample prospectus, revised for 2005-2006,gives all of the details.

Note also that starting in 2005-2006 all shares start at an IPO value of KD5. On September 21st, shares will only sell at that IPO value.

The BIND (Bayan Unweighted Index)

The BIND (Kuwait Unweighted Index) adds together the values of one share of each company's stock.
